I chose Travel Talk to take my parents on their dream trip to Egypt in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary, and it exceeded every expectation.This was my parents’ first international trip, and watching them stand in awe of the pyramids, cruise along the Nile, and experience the rich history and beauty of Egypt was something I will cherish forever. The laughter we shared, the stories we created, and the memories we made together are priceless and will live in my heart for a lifetime.What made this trip truly extraordinary were not only the incredible places we visited but also the amazing people we met along the way. We recently completed the “Amazing Turkey by Land 10 days”. We were somewhat hesitant booking a tour as we normally travel independently, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotels and bus were of a high standard and we were fortunate to travel with a great group of fellow travellers.A standout of the trip was our guide, Aykut. Knowledgeable and informative with a great sense of humour and a skilled story teller. He kept us entertained, and we will remember him long after we forget many of the sites we visited.Great trip, highly recommend it.Point to note.Although credit cards are widely accepted in Turkey, there is often a preference for cash and additional commissions/charges if you pay by credit card. As the guide organised the entrance fees in advance, to avoid unnecessary queuing, we paid him in cash for all the entrance fees. ( He accepted Euros, USD, GBP or Turkish Lire).So I strongly recommend you take a minimum of €500 in cash, preferably more, particularly if you are thinking of doing the hot air ballooning or paragliding.ATMs for cash withdrawals are widely available but there were sometimes issues accessing them and some ATMs charge up to 18% commission.

Best of Türkiye by Gulet 12 days with Mustafa as our guide and Murat as our driver. The historical knowledge and legends Mustafa shared during our journey made it so you could picture yourself there at that time. The highlights were many and the pictures taken were monumental.The travel by bus was comfortable and smooth. We did have some long travel days but Mustafa ensured we stopped every 2.5 hours to stretch, use the WC and get snacks. The hotel accommodations were, while 5 star rated Turkish standard, were from 2.5 to 5 star, North American standard. They were all clean but in need of some repair. The hotel breakfasts and dinners were basic buffet fare. However, the lunches were the star of the trip. Classic kebabs, soups and pida.The Gulet portion of the trip was fun but the boat was rough. Small rooms with tiny bathrooms were challenging but the staff on board were fantastic. The food was phenomenal and they went so far as to bake three birthday cakes for my husband’s birthday. Such an unexpected lovely gesture.I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see the highlights of western Türkiye. You won’t regret it.

My friend and I booked a tour with Travel Talk Tours after going to a holiday expo. The itinerary for Amazing Turkey by Land suited us perfectly as there was an option for us to fly from Cappadocia back to Istanbul instead of taking the bus. We were a bit hesitant about joining a tour group at first but we have been blessed to have met the most wonderful people in our group. It didn’t stop there though - our guide Mustafa was the icing on the cake. His knowledge of history and how he weaves the rich history of civilizations past into such interesting stories will capture your interest, together with his personable approach and sense of humor which helps a tour group relax and enjoy the tour as it unfolds. Prepare to be amazed by this country, it certainly has much more to offer than I expected. Turkey has touched my heart deeply and I will leave with many wonderful memories 🫶

The "Best of Turkey by Gulet" tour strikes a brilliant balance between historical exploration and Mediterranean relaxation while visiting the magical country of Türkiye. Our guide Mustafa was an expert in the rich cultural history of each site & his genuine love for his country, shone through in his storytelling and humour which brought to life the ruins & landscapes we visited.Over 12 days, the journey sweeps you through some incredible sightseeing in crazy Istanbul, moving Gallipoli, Troy, Ephesus before handing you over to the turquoise waters of Fethiye for a three day sailing trip on a traditional wooden Gulet. The tour then resumes with visits to the surreal landscapes of Pamukkale & Cappadocia.This tour is a must for the curious traveller wanting an unforgettable experience. Mustafa kept us informed and we felt safe throughout the whole tour.

Amazing Turkey by Land, a 10 day tour by Travel Talk has been such a wonderful experience.I am sad that it has come to an end, and it a tour i highly recommend.Mustafa has been patient, engaging, funny, and informative.The bus was extremely comfortable, allowing us all to have a seat to ourselves.Our driver Murat, was a real gentleman and a great driver.We have seen so much on this tour, from ruins to palaces with such ancient history.Pamulkale and Cappadocia were on my bucket list, so I am really happy.There were also great options to take up.Hotels on the tour were comfortable. They fed us very well, with buffets for breakfast and dinner.We had stops every 2 hours for relief and snacks.Lunches were easily facilitated by Mustafa as many menus were in Turkish.I highly recommend this tour.Also, flying back to Instanbul was a bonus.Christine

Fabulous time travelling all over Turkey, with our patient, informative , hilarious guide Mustafa. We saw so many beautiful historical places,even our long bus rides were broken up with well times stops, wonderful lunch spots and jokes along the way. Getting to know Turkey has been wonderful

I had a fantastic tour through Türkiye on the Amazing Turkey by Land tour. Mustafa was a friendly and knowledgeable guide, showing us some great sightseeing and historical places. The hotels were a bit hit and miss, but overall I had a great time and would recommend the trip to others.

My wife and I recently completed a Travel Talk tour of Turkiye which include both land and Mediterranean sailing components. We are still on a high from the entire experience. From start to finish, every detail was handled with perfection, making it one of the most memorable trips of our lifes.​What truly elevated this trip from great to extraordinary was our phenomenal guide, Mustafa, his deep knowledge, local insights, and enthusiasm brought our numerous stops to life. Whilst he knew facts; he also told captivating stories and went out of his way to ensure everyone in our group was comfortable, engaged, and enjoying the experience. The bus driver Murat operated quietly and efficiently in the background, providing assistance with luggage while his driving made us feel at ease either on the freeways or tight busy streets of the cities.​The itinerary was a perfect travel plan. It struck an ideal balance between hit-the-ground-running sightseeing and relaxed, free time to explore. Every daily activity felt purposeful, seamless, and incredibly well-paced. We loved that we got to experience the iconic highlights of the region without ever feeling rushed, while also getting introduced to some off-the-beaten-path experiences. Our time spent on a Gulet on the Mediterranean was a real treat, days spent relaxing in the sun, swimming and exploring numerous bays along the coastline. The crew were very friendly making us feel welcome and right at ease. The food was fresh and traditional for every meal.​After a full day of exploring, returning to our accommodations was an treat. Almost every hotel we stayed at was wonderful—clean, well laid out, with great amenities, and situated in perfect locations. The hospitality at each stop was efficient and welcoming, the beds were comfortable and the buffet for dinner and breakfast tremendous.​If you are on the fence about booking this tour, do it. Exceptional value for money, the perfect blend of a brilliant guide, a flawless itinerary, and beautiful places to rest your head made this an unforgettable journey. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

A great 12 day land tour of Turkey. We saw all the amazing sights, with enough time at each spot. I would certainly recommend this tour to others. Mustafa went out of his way to cater for everyone as there was a wide range of ages and abilities in our group. There was a good mix of historical, adventure and leisure activities. The days have been well timed with enough stops ,good restaurants and clean facilities. Our guide ensured a high level of safety , putting everyone at ease.

A wonderful time was had in my 12 day Turkey tour. Mustafa was very knowledgeable and his English was very good. He had a lovely sense of humour and nothing was too mich trouble. The accommodation has been outstanding, and the bus driver fabulous. Coming from NZ, it was very grounding to actually see ANZAC Cove in Gallipolli. Ephesus Ancient city was amazing. It was ruins but you could see whole front facades of buildings. The white terraces were a little disappointing as not many of the pools actually contained water. The hang gliding in Fithye was a fabulous way to end the 3 days relaxing on the Gulet, followed by a totally awesome turkish bath and massage at the hotel in Pamukkale. I would highly recommend this tour.

The 10 day Amazing Turkey by Gulet tour has been fantastic. After many years of solo travel, to have the guide, Mustafa who has been amazing, taking care of all of the logistics, sharing his knowledge and ensuring the group are comfortable providing translation and guidance as we've shopped and moved about in our free time has made for an enjoyable and relaxing tour.Special mention as well to Birk and the Gulet crew who took great care of us as we swam and hydrated in the Mediterranean around Fethiye for a few days.

The 12 Day Best of Turkey tour with Mustafa was fantastic. The tour was the perfect mix of city, history and relaxation. Really enjoyed the hustle and bustle of Istanbul and the ancient ruins in Ephesus and Pamukkale. The boat/beach day in Dalyan was an unexpected highlight! May was a great time to get slightly cooler temperatures and less crowds. Highly recommend to anyone considering Turkey.

The coach itself was very comfortable, and the travel days were relaxed and well managed.Apart from one hotel, the hotels generally exceeded expectations and were consistently wonderful, and having nearly all meals (all breakfasts and most dinners) included made the whole experience even more enjoyable and convenient. We were also incredibly lucky with perfect weather throughout the trip, which made exploring each destination even more special.Another highlight was the group itself — everyone got on so well, and by the end of the tour it genuinely felt like travelling with friends. The atmosphere throughout the entire trip was fantastic.This was one of the best tours we’ve ever done and we would recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the beauty, history, culture, and hospitality of Turkey in a well-organised, comfortable, and unforgettable way. We had a Turkey Tour, started from İstanbul for 12 days. What an experience.Our guide Aykut was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. He is credit to his company. The driver Aydın was a great driver.I highly recommend this tour and company. You will not be disappointed.

We went on the travel talk Morocco Tour in April 2026. The Travel Talk Morocco Tour was fantastic. Abder, our guide and Hassan, our driver were both very helpful. I highly recommend Abder especially for his knowledge and willingness to go out of his way to assist us. I especially liked Essaouira, Chefchaouen and Marrakesh, but in general everything was great except for the tent at Merzouga. That was way below par while all other accommodation was good. We booked into the hotel for the next night & so did all the others on the tour. I suggest that Travel Talk stick to the hotel. Otherwise everything was great. I highly recommend the tour.

Just completed the Best of Turkey by Land on a 12 day tour and it has been an absolutely exceptional tour. The accomodations were amazing and organised activities were well planned. The absolute highlight though was our guide Mustafa. He is a delight to be around, incredibly funny and informative whilst also running the tour without a hitch whilst accommodating everyone's needs. We had a large variety of people including myself being the youngest and his charisma and character allowed everyone to be comfortable and interact seamlessly. Highly recommend travel talk in Turkey.
