Amber Budda

I just did the 12 day Moroccan Dream tour with Abdul and it was absolutely AMAZING!!! Abdul is the best guide I have ever had (I have done a lot of tours through Travel Talk in the last 2 years). Abdul is informative, funny, kind, and patient. His laugh is CONTAGIOUS!

The driver has been great as well. The bus is never hot, he always turns the AC on when needed. Transportation from the airport in Marrakech to our hotel went smoothly. The hotels were great. Clean showers and bedding. The Sahara Desert was truly a once in a lifetime experience! Absolutely incredible. I appreciate the included activities in the Sahara and the 2 nights spending there. Would have loved even 3 nights there!

Abdul and his crew were always on top of everything, helping to make this tour an unforgettable experience. Abdul made this trip 1000x’s better and I will forever be grateful for him and this awesome tour he took us on.

3 things that I would recommend to be mindful of on this tour is that the desert camp tents are a little deceiving. Your included accommodated tent is not like the example shown in the picture. Your tent has no AC and a curtesy sheet in between rooms (you can hear your neighbours). It is very hot during the day in your tent, but DOES cools down perfectly at night. Yes you do have electricity and charging ports in your tent. It is a Moroccan experience for sure! It would be nice for Travel Talk to show the options of the Sahara rooms before/when you book (can pay at the property, but at least show online your options before hand) and the room that is included as well as the optional upgrades for the rooms you can get (you can upgrade your room). The breakfasts are not the best I have ever had but they are okay, and Abdul takes you often during the days to coffee shops, ATMs, snack places, and ice cream stops! I recommend more free time in the markets, however I appreciate the free time in Marrakech on the last day.

With this tour you see SO much of Morocco and are constantly moving and exploring. You get to go to Chefchaouen twice to have extra free time in the beautiful blue city!

Abdul and the crew went truly above and beyond to make this tour amazing. The driver and the bus helper cleaned the bus constantly and did so much work behind the scenes. Abdul gives very clear rundowns of the day plans and following day plans and will help you at any time. He got to know us on a personal level and loved hearing about our stories and lives. Abdul made the bus rides fun and enjoyable. You can tell he loves his job!

This tour is affordable for a Canadian full-time university student like me. Travel Talk’s options give people like me the opportunity to travel and see the world. Thank you Abdul and thank you Travel Talk!
