1
Day 1: Marrakech
At the terminal keep your eyes open for the Travel Talk sign, as we pick you up from the airport and take you to our hotel. Gather round in the hotel lobby at 7:00pm as we meet both other tour members and the guide. Listen up for a fast and informal meeting with the leader including registration and a short brief about the adventures ahead and some country info. Optional dinner together is available to get to know your travel mates better.

Day 2: Marrakech, Essaouira
After breakfast we will discover Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace & Dar Si Said Museum before we depart for Essaouira. On our way to the next destination, we will stop at Argan Women Cooperative & discover the making process of Argan oil. In the evening, you have an option to visit the Medina of Essaouira, an UNESCO World Heritage listed city.

Day 3: Essaouira, Casablanca
Today we’ll make our way to Casablanca where we will first have a guided tour of the gigantic Hassan II Mosque, the largest in all Africa. Our visit will continue with United Nations Square, Anfa Residential Quarter and a short medina visit. Before dinner, we will have a short photo stop by Rick’s Café & watch the sunset by the ocean.

Day 4: Casablanca, Rabat, Chefchaouen, Tetouan
Today we will drive to Rabat & discover the beautiful capital city of Morocco set in a rich, amber-colored landscape combining the ancient history with the modern Moroccan culture. Our guided tour will include the Kasbah visit which overlooks the Bouregreg River, Royal Palace, Chellah Ruins, Mohammed V Mausoleum and Hassan II Tower. At the end of the intensive city tour, we will make our way to Chefchaouen, the Blue City, and wander the narrow streets of this breathtaking mountain village. Overnight stay in Tetouan.

Day 5: Tetouan, Chefchaouen, Fes
Today we will continue to explore the blue city of Morocco, Chefchaouen! Our visit includes the medina, Outa el-Hammam Square, waterfall of Ras el-Maa and the Spanish Mosque which has the best view of Chefchaouen. In the afternoon, we will drive to the cultural heart of Morocco, Fes. This city is the third largest in the country and best known for its labyrinth of souks and leather tanneries - the smell will not be forgotten!

Day 6: Fes
Today we start to discover the amazing city of Fes including Bab Bouloud Gate (Royal Palace), Bou Inania Madrasa, Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, Quaraouiyine Mosque, Najjarine Square, Spices Market, Terina Madrasa, the surroundings of Karaouine Medina, Mellah (Jewish Quarter) and Pottery & Tannery visits with our local guide.

Day 7: Fes, Merzouga
Today we drive through Efran City in High Atlas Mountains and Midelt to reach the village of Merzouga,, famous for majestic sand dunes and a true depiction of the desert landscapes Morocco is known for. On the way to Merzouga, we pass by Tazzarine which is the capital of Henna and Risani, the last city before dunes and the origin of Alaouites dynasty. In the afternoon, after our lunch break at Ziz Valley, we will arrive to Merzouga. Our camel ride will start there to reach our 1st campsite before sunset. After sharing our experiences with our travel mates and dining under a starry sky, we stay in sedentary tents portraying the authentic local life of the Sahara.

Day 8: Merzouga
Today we will watch the sunrise over the sand dunes before we start the camel trek to the 2nd campsite. After breakfast we will join a 4x4 jeep safari for 2 hours through the Sahara and enjoy the adventurous atmosphere of the desert life. The jeep tour gives us the opportunity to see different beautiful landscapes, isolated Berber villages, oases, dunes and nomads… In the afternoon you can relax by the pool, sandboard or wander around the sand dunes.

Day 9: Merzouga, Marrakech
After the breakfast, we will depart our 2nd campsite. On the way back, we will drive by film studios in Ouarzazate & have a short photo stop at Tichka mountain pass in the High Atlas region. Late in the afternoon we will reach the fascinating city of Marrakech, the point where the Arab culture of the cities meet the Berber culture of the mountain villages. It's where historically, the sub-Saharan traders (carrying gold, salt and slaves) would trade their wares to the merchants who would then bring them to Europe. Djemaa el-Fna Square - a chaotic area packed with story tellers, snake charmers, acrobats, musicians and folk dancers will be the last stop of the tour.

Day 10: Marrakech
Our trip will end after check-out (11:00am) say goodbye to our new friends over breakfast, and we bid you safe travels.
