Had the most amazing trip and met some beautiful people. I haven’t belly laughed so much in ages. Marios our tour guide was amazing and definitely made the trip more memorable. The work he put in to making a great trip for us all was clear to see. The only thing I would do different would be to fly back from Santorini and not do the ferry and a night in Athens at the end but that’s on me.

We have absolutely loved every minute of our tour through Greece! We chose the 10 day Island hopping tour and got to connect with the most amazing people, beautiful locations and delicious food and drinks made even better by our tour leader Marios Iliadis. He always made sure to include everyone and make everybody feel comfortable during group meals, orientation walks and activities and even went the extra mile to check in with us on our free days to make sure we were okay and offer suggestions to make the most of our experience.
This trip was overall an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering coming and exploring Greece!

I had my tour with Sofia and she was amazing at her job. She did her best to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible. Even if someone got lost or got hurt, she came and helped everyone in our group out. I really enjoyed Mykonos and Santorini but wished we stayed a day or two in Ios. You really can’t beat the value of this trip compare to Contiki or Topdeck as I would recommend everyone do travel talk.

I just completed this tour with Panos. We had the wildest time. Greece is so beautiful and when you have a great guide it really makes it even more spectacular.
You have ample time in all locations. Its a true value for money trip and if you get Panos as your guide you’ve hit the jackpot.
Thanks Travel Talk and thank you Panos for an amazing experience.

Our group was great with a wide variety of ages from early 20s to 60s/70s and a mix of couples, people on their own and friendship groups who all socialised together. And Panos was a brilliant tour leader!!
Everyone was very social and had group meals, trips and drinks together but every single day and evening gave you the option to choose how much you stuck with the group or went off to do your own thing.
One of the best things was having your travel and accommodation sorted, and also not having to choose restaurants, bars etc yourself. All food and excursions we had were very high quality and there was absolutely no stress of having to organise anything.
As with all travel, sometimes the hotel rooms are noisy because of other guests/road noise etc but I’m a super light sleeper and it didn’t bother me that much. You’ll likely share a room with another traveller if you’re going solo (not sure if some people paid extra for their own).
The optional speedboat tour was a highlight and definitely recommended, along with the night out in Mykonos as every single member of the group joined and had an amazing time together, then people just left when they were ready.
Panos looked after everyone, pointed us in the right direction in every location and was extremely reliable and organised so we felt in very safe hands. He made sure we had so much fun and he accommodated for everyone regardless of how late they wanted to stay out (which for us varied from 12pm to 4am dependent on the night). The bars were incredible and there was also sightseeing and history/cultural stuff to do on the day.
The price is great considering the hotels would have been about €150 per night, ferries €80 per trip etc.
Overall lots of great memories, very good value for money and the best way to see Greece!

I just completed this tour in May 2023. It was my first time traveling solo and I’m happy I did it. I would definitely do another TravelTalkTour. I didn’t mind any of the hotels we stayed in. Road noise wasn’t an issue as mentioned in other reviews. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. All the hotels had fairly nice pool areas. Mykonos hotel had a great pool area and Ios hotel had a great view. Loved that the Santorini hotel was so close to town. Paying bills at restaurants was fairly easy. Only a couple restaurants had difficulty accommodating spilt checks but mostly restaurants in less touristy places. Vasso, our tour guide was great. Very polite and made effort to get to know everyone. She was always up to have group dinners and go for a drink or try to get out mixed age group out to party. May was a lovely time to go. Weather was still hot enough to go in the water but not as crowded as the summer months will be. Also speed boat excursion in Ios was very fun. Bring something for nausea if you get motion sickness, you go on several ferries. Bring comfy walking shoes.

Such a fun tour mixing party day at the beach, cultural visits and having traditionnal greek food. I had such a wonderful 10 days tour with a small group of 10 travelers. Being the only guy in the group made the trip even more interesting. Ioanna our tour leader made sure everyone was able to have a good time. She was very helpful with helping us paying the bill at restaurants since greek waiters are not fund of managing big groups with separate bills. I have some remarks regarding the hotels provided on the tour : The President Hotel in Athens was a very nice 4 star hotel but it is located way too close to the main street (Leof Kifisias). The noise of cars and motobikes was very loud until late at night. I suggest booking another hotel located in a more quiet street away from a main road. The hotel in Santorini, New Haroula Hotel was quite bad. I was given one of the rooms on the street side, isolated from the others rooms, the room did not have a proper window, was exposed to main road at night with all the quad bikes passing by, the wifi did not work in the room and there was a communicating door with the room next door which made me hear the guests next room very distinctively at night (it was like I was in the same room as them). I would not recommend this hotel. Regarding the ferry trip from Ios to Athens, it would be great to book it on first class for the next tours. We had to travel on economy which was quite bad : it was very hot and noisy even worse we were seated right by the toilets…. Overall I would recommend this tour which allowed me to discover Athens and the beautiful islands. Hepharisto !
