Passengers from Australia, New Zealand, UK and USA do not require a visa for short stays up to 90 days. And passengers from Canada do not require a visa for short stays up to 6 months.

Nationals from the countries listed above who would like to travel visa-free to South Korea are temporarily exempt from requiring a K-ETA until December 31, 2026. Further information about the K-ETA exemption can be found on the K-ETA notice board and information about requirements of other visa types on the Korea Tourism Organization official page.

We recommend to have a passport with at least 6 months’ validity remaining from the day you leave South Korea.

Yes, all passengers travelling with Travel Talk must have travel insurance before participating in any of our tours. The South Korean WON (sign: ₩; currency code: KRW) is the official currency of South Korea. A few examples of approximate prices (1000 WON = $0.69):

Coffee: 7.500 - 9.500 WON (5.17 - 6.55$)

Mid-range restaurant meal: 16.000 - 45.000 WON (11.03 - 27.60$)

Soju (South Korea's traditional alcholic beverage): 4.000 - 8.000 WON (2.75 - 5.50$)

Most of the mobile phones are compatible so you will not experience any issues using your mobile device but roaming charges can be quite expensive, so it may be a good idea to buy a local data card instead of using your sim card while in South Korea.

Wi-Fi is available in most of the hotels & restaurants/cafes and is, in general, free of charge.
