Nagadeepa Temple

Located on the small island of Nainativu off Sri Lanka’s northern coast, Nagadeepa Temple is one of the country's most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites. Reached by a short ferry ride across calm coastal waters, the temple attracts devotees and visitors alike with its peaceful setting, colourful architecture, and deep spiritual significance.

According to Buddhist tradition, Nagadeepa is one of the places visited by the Buddha during his lifetime.
