Here’s some reasons why you should spend your next Halloween in Transylvania.

1. Autumn is one of the best times to visit Transylvania

Although Transylvania is associated with vampires and gothic architecture, it’s one of the best places to go in Europe for autumn. Autumn has an impressive effect on the stunning mountainous landscapes and lush forests, as most of the region erupts into shades of red and gold. The architecture, medieval castles and charming mountain villages come to life against the beautiful autumnal colours. In September and October, temperatures are also quite comfortable, with less tourists and crisp autumn days. Not to mention, Halloween festivities take place throughout autumn, so there’s no better time to go!
