Jaffna Clock Tower

Standing at one of Jaffna’s busiest intersections, the Jaffna Clock Tower is a familiar landmark that has watched over the city for more than a century. The clock tower was completed in 1875 to commemorate the visit of Albert Edward, the Prince of Wales, who would later become King Edward VII.
