Day 1 Cairo
Day 2 Cairo City Tour, Hurghada After breakfast we visit the Giza Plateau to explore the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycrenos. The afternoon is left to site-see Sakkara; the first capital of ancient Egypt, famous for its step pyramid built by King Zoser in 2700 B.C. In the eveninng we board our bus to Hurghada. We stay overnight in Hurghada. Day 3 Hurghada, Luxor Another day to participate in numerous sea or land activities available in Hurghada or spend a relaxing day after a tiring(!) night. In the afternoon we’ll depart for Luxor, the premier travel destination in UIpper Egypt and the Nile Valley. In antiquity, the city, known as Thebes by the Greeks, was the dynastic and religious capital of Middle Kingdom and New Kingdom Egypt. Today, it has much to offer the traveler, from vast temples, to ancient royal tombs, via spectacular desert and river scenery. In the evening we’ll check into our Premium hotel by the River of Nile. After dinner we start to explore the night life of this amazing town. Day 4 Luxor Today, after an early breakfast we visit the temple of Luxor on the East Bank of the Nile which was dedicated to the great god Amun, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu (the mood god) together represents the Theban triad. The temple was built on the site of a probable smaller structure for the god Amun, while the earliest parts of the temple seen today date from the 14th century BC and the time of Amenhotep III. In the afternoon we proceed to the Temple of Karnak, one of the most important religious centers of ancient Egypt. Then we depart for the West Bank of the Nile where our donkey awaits to take us into the Valley of the Kings. Next is our discovery of the magnificent “city of the Dead” where tombs were carved into the desert rocks, decorated richly, and filled with treasures for the Pharaoh afterlife. Rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut is our next stop.Then we drive to Aswan for overnight stay. Day 5 Aswan, Nile Cruise After breakfast we start to explore Aswan, the smallest of the three major tourist cities based on the Nile famous for the amazing Philea Temple and High Dam, an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s. After visiting the High Dam we head to Philea Temple , we embark 5 star Nile Cruiser to cruise along the Nile. Early in the morning you can join the optional trip to Abu Simbel, one of the most impressive ancient sights of Egypt. Day 6 Nile Cruise Today we sail all day long on Nile, watching the beautiful scenery pass us by and wave to the locals continuing their day of washing, swimming and fishing. Whilst being absorbed by the culture we can sit back and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of one of the greatest rivers on the earth. Day 7 Nile Cruise, Edfu, Komombo, Luxor, Cairo Today we disembark Nile Cruiser and visit Edfu and Komombo temples In the evening we board the overnight train to Cairo and check into our sleeper cabin. Day 8 Cairo City Tour Our journey continues with a visit to one of the most important museums in the ancient world, the Egyptian Museum houses more than 100,000 relics of Egypt. Today we discover the Citadel of Saladin, Mosque of Mohamed Ali, the Hanging Church and the world famous Kahn El Khalili bazaar. Day 9 Cairo, Nuweiba, Dahab Relax and unwind next to the sea with all the activities available including swimming, snorkeling, diving, camel treks, jeep safaris and more!! Day 10 Dahab Another relax day in paradise ! Day 11 Dahab, Mt. Sinai Trek In the afternoon we’ll depart for St. Catherine. Early in the morning (about1:30 a.m. Day 12) we’ll ascend Mt. Sinai, where as the night ends you can witness the spectacular sunrise which blankets the surrounding peaks in gold and unveils one of the best views in Egypt. In the morning of day 12 we’ll visit St. Catherine Monastery and travel back to Dahab. Day 12 St Catherine, Dahab Two more days to savor the sun, sand, sea at this popular Red Sea resort. Day 13 Dahab Day 14 Dahab, Cairo After spending the day in Dahab, we'll board our overnight coach back to Cairo in the evening. Day 15 Cairo Our trip ends in Cairo (08:00am) Our representative will transport you to the airport. Sights Visited
