Day 1 Sharm, Dahab

Sharm, DahabAt the Sharm El Sheikh terminal keep your eyes open for the Travel Talk sign, we pick you up from the airport and take you to our Dahab hotel. Gather round in the hotel lobby at 6:00pm as we meet both the other tour members and the guide for an informal meeting. Click for the arrival details

Day 2 Dahab

Relax and unwind next to the sea with all the activities available including swimming, snorkeling, diving, camel treks, jeep safaris and more!!

Day 3 Dahab, Mt. Sinai Trek

Dahab, Mt. Sinai TrekIn the afternoon we’ll depart for St. Catherine. Early in the morning (about1:30 a.m) we’ll ascend Mt. Sinai, where as the night ends you can witness the spectacular sunrise which blankets the surrounding peaks in gold and unveils one of the best views in Egypt. In the morning of day 12 we’ll visit St. Catherine Monastery and travel back to Dahab.

Day 6 Dahab, Cairo

After spending the day in Dahab, we'll board our overnight coach back to Cairo in the evening.

Day 7 Cairo

CairoWelcome to Cairo, the sixteenth most crowded metropolitan cities in the world with a population of over 17 million people. Cairo is located on the banks and islands of the Nile River in the north, immediately south of the point where the river leaves its desert bound valley and breaks into two branches into the low-lying Nile Delta region. After checking into our Premium Hotel we have free day to savor sun and swimming pool.

Day 8 Cairo City Tour, Hurghada

After breakfast we visit the Giza Plateau to explore the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycrenos. The afternoon is left to site-see Sakkara; the first capital of pyramid built by King Zoser in 2700 B.C. In the evening we board our bus to Hurghada.

Day 9 Hurghada, Luxor

Hurghada, LuxorAnother day to participate in numerous sea or land activities in Hurghada or spend the day relaxing after a tiring(!) night. In the afternoon we’ll depart for Luxor, the premier travel destination in Upper Egypt and the Nile Valley. In antiquity, the city, known as Thebes by the Greeks, was the dynastic and religious capital of Middle Kingdom and New Kingdom Egypt. Today, it has much to offer the traveller, from vast temples, to ancient royal tombs, via spectacular desert and river scenery. In the evening we’ll check into our Premium hotel by the River of Nile. After dinner we start to explore the night life of this amazing town.

Day 10 Luxor

Today, after an early breakfast we visit the temple of Luxor on the East Bank of the Nile which was dedicated to the great god Amun, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu (the mood god) together represents the Theban triad. The temple was built on the site of a probable smaller structure for the god Amun, while the earliest parts of the temple seen today date from the 14th century BC and the time of Amenhotep III. In the afternoon we proceed to the Temple of Karnak, one of the most important religious centers of ancient Egypt. Then we depart for the West Bank of the Nile where our donkey awaits to take us into the Valley of the Kings. Next is our discovery of the magnificent “city of the Dead” where tombs were carved into the desert rocks, decorated richly, and filled with treasures for the Pharaoh afterlife. Rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut is our next stop. In the afternoon we head to Aswan for overnight stay.

Day 11 Aswan

AswanAfter breakfast we start to explore Aswan, the smallest of the three major tourist cities based on the Nile famous for the amazing Philea Temple and High Dam, an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s. After visiting the High Dam we head to Philea Temple and take a short motorboat ride to reach the island. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, Philae Temple has a beautiful setting on an island in the River of Nile. Its various shrines and sanctuaries celebrate the deities involved in the myth of Isis and Osiris. Early in the morning you can join the optional trip to Abu Simbel, one of the most impressive ancient sights of Egypt.

Day 12 Nile Cruise

Today we sail all day long on Nile, watching the beautiful scenery pass us by and wave to the locals continuing their day of washing, swimming and fishing. Whilst being absorbed by the culture we can sit back and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of one of the greatest rivers on the earth.

Day 13 Nile Cruise, Edfu, Komombo, Luxor, Cairo

Nile Cruise, Edfu, Komombo, Luxor, CairoToday we disembark Nile Cruiser and visit Edfu and Komombo temples In the evening we board the overnight train to Cairo and check into our sleeper cabin.

Day 14 Cairo City Tour

Our journey continues with a visit to one of the most important museums in the ancient world, the Egyptian Museum houses more than 100,000 relics of Egypt. Today we discover the Citadel of Saladin, Mosque of Mohamed Ali, the Hanging Church and the world famous Kahn El Khalili bazaar.

Day 15 Cairo, Nuweiba, Dahab, Sharm

Our tour concludes in Sharm El Sheikh and we say goodbye to our friends. Our representative will transport you to the airport.
