Gather round in the hotel lobby at 7:00pm as we meet both the other tour members and the guide. Listen up for a fast and informal meeting with the leader including registration and a short brief about the adventures ahead and some country info. After visiting the Royal Palace, Chellah Ruins, Hassan Tower, Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Oudayas Gardens, we’ll depart for Fes, where we’ll stay overnight.

Day 3 Fes

Today we’ll explore the oldest imperial city of Morrocco with more than 10.000 tiny streets offering the largest “medina” (old city) and souks in the world. The Bab Boujloud Gate, Bou Inania Medersa, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, Andalusian and Quaraouiyine Mosque, Najjarine Square and the Spices Market, Atarine Medersa, the surroundings of Karaouine Medina and Mellah will be the sites visited today. Overnight stay in Fes.

Day 4 Erfoud

After breakfast we’ll depart for Midelt passing through the Atlas mountains. Midelt is an impressive mountain city at 1488 metres above sea level, remarkably situated down the Jbel Ayachi (3737 m). easter-2012Mal C. - AustraliaMOROCCOAs a couple we were looking for a way to sample Morocco for the first time within 7 – days. We were considering driving around by ourselves but decided with little time for planning and not much experience in travelling North Africa, a guided tour might be better. I am happy to say that we made the right decision. Safety and convenience were provided on the tour which are the two things we were especially looking for.Said was an excellent guide and assisted us the entire trip when required. He was also engaging but did not pressure us into doing things that we didn’t want to. He also was accommodating to the fact that I was sick for the majority of the trip. I have lived in Europe for many years and have traveled Europe, Asia, North Africa repeatedly so I am impressed that the tour accommodating a range of travelers. The driver was professional and always made us feel safe on the road. I would recommend this tour to my friends and colleagues. Well done Travel Talk.2008-6-3Tour: Essential Morocco5
