Day 1 Marrakech

At the terminal keep your eyes open for the Travel Talk sign, as we pick you up from the airport and take you to our hotel. Gather round in the hotel lobby at 7:00pm as we meet both the other tour members and the guide. Listen up for a fast and informal meeting with the leader including registration and a short brief about the adventures ahead and some country info. Optional dinner together is available to get to know your travel mates better.

Day 2 Marrakech, Zagora

After breakfast we depart for Zagora, the desert village reflecting the traditional life of Morocco. The village is located at the edge of the Sahara and the famous “52 days by camel to Tombouctou”. After sharing our experiences with our travel mates and dining under a starry sky, we stay in sedentary tents portraying the authentic local life of the Sahara.

Day 3 Zagora, Chigaga and Jeep Safari

An amazing day in the Moroccon desert. In the morning we join a 4x4 jeep safari through the magnificent sand dunes. We may even have the opportunity to visit one of the nomad families who live in hand-woven goat hair tents. We have lunch at the Oasis and then continue to Chigaga in our 4x4 jeeps, a 40 km-long stretch of huge 300m high Saharan dunes, through the arid plains and sands. In the evening we visit into our nomad tent camp, based at the largest dune called “ocean without water” and have dinner under the desert stars.

Day 4 Camel Trek in the Desert

Another amazing day in the Moroccon desert ! Today we join a full day camel trek in the Sahara and enjoy the adventurous atmosphere of the desert life. We have lunch in the desert and we then make our way to our bivouac at an oasis where an awesome experience awaits us : watching the desert change colour under the sunset, staring a billion stars in the night sky, or listening to the silence of the desert before the sun comes up.

Day 5 Imlil in High Atlas Mountains

Today we travel to Imlil, true Berber country. Driving in our mini bus passing through palm groves, Berber villages and kasbahs to Imlil a traditional & vibrant village in the High Atlas mountains. Overnight stay in a local house.

Day 6 Toubkal, Trek in High Atlas Mountains

Today is spent trekking in the Toubkal region passing through local villages and unique scenery. Where we will see Mt Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa (4167m).

Day 7 Imlil, Marrakech

Today we depart for Marrakech. In the afternoon we will visit Djemaa el Fna Square - filled with story tellers, snake charmers, acrobats, musicians and folk dancers. We remain in Marrakech overnight.

Day 8 Marrakech

Our trip will end after check-out (11:00am) say goodbye to our new friends over breakfast, and we bid you safe travels.
