Begin in spectacular Split and sail to Brac, Korcular, Markarska and party island Hvar, before exploring the wonders of Dubrovnik's Old Town. Then embark on a journey to Montenegro with the added option to visit the 'city of contrasts', Mostar, Bosnia!

Croatia-Bosnia-Montenegro

Day 1 Split, Makarska

Split, MakarskaAfter boarding our “A” category cruiser (01:00pm) at the Split harbour and having our lunch onboard we cruise in the tranquil waters of the Mediterranean Sea. We depart for swimming at different bays along the Dalmatian coast before arriving in Makarska, the most attractive coastline nestled under the massive peaks of Biokovo mountain range with Mt Jure – the highest seaside peak in the Mediterranean. Makarska is a popular resort town with a long beach (1500m) lined with palm trees, cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques. Our tour leader will take us for an orientation walk and point out places where we can have a meal before we head to popular bars and clubs. Tonight sleep with the sounds of water lapping underneath you.

Day 2 Brac, Makarska

After a swimming break in one of the hidden bays we continue our sail to Makarska, the most attractive coastline nestled under the massive peaks of Biokovo mountain range with Mt Jure – the highest seaside peak in the Mediterranean. Makarska is a popular resort town with a long beach (1500m) lined with palm trees, cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques. Our tour leader will take us for an orientation walk and point out places where we can have a meal before we head to popular bars and clubs. Tonight sleep with the sounds of water lapping underneath you.

Day 3 Makarska, Hvar

The anchor comes up in the morning, we wave goodbye to the shores of Makarska and are bound for Hvar. Hvar is the longest island in the Adriatic famous for its lavender, sage, rosemary and wine. Upon arrival, our tour leader will take us for a orientation walk on the island and show us the largest city square of the Croatian Islands and the 400 year old community theatre, the oldest in Europe. The rest of the evening is free to explore the island on your own, dine & wine in one of the traditional restaurants, visit some of the popular clubs and enjoy the night life on this beautiful island.

Day 4 Hvar, Korcula

Today we first sail to Lumbarda beach and spend some hours here to swim, sunbath, join various activities like jetski, windsurfing and paragliding. We then continue to Korcula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. Korcula is graced with indented coves, rolling hills and a walled old town that resembles a miniature Dubrovnik. It provides plenty of opportunities for scenic drives, particularly along the southern coast. Swimming opportunities abound in the many quiet coves and secluded beaches, while the interior produces some of Croatia’s finest wine, especially dessert wines made from the grape cultivated around Lumbarda. Local olive oil is another product worth sampling out. Here you can wander the herringbone streets, visit the spot where Marco Polo lived, or grab a cocktail in the bar located on top of the old city tower.

Day 5 Korcula, Mljet

Early in the morning we cruise south and take a swimming break at one of the bays near Loviste, a delightful fishing village and harbour on the Peljesac Peninsula before cruising to Mljet, a fantastic island covered by forests and dotted by fields, vineyards and small villages. Opened in 1960, Mljet National Park occupies the western third of the island and surrounds two saltwater lakes, Malo Jezero and Veliko Jezero. Before arriving in Mljet we take a swimming break at one of the amazing Croatian bays. After arriving to this impressive island our tour leader takes us on an orientation walk. Your afternoon is free to visit the salt lakes in the National Park, enjoy the sun and sea or participate in the activities like kayaking, cycling, scooting around the National Park.

Day 6 Mljet, Slano

After breakfast we depart for Slano. We first stop near the Elephite island and swim in the tranquil waters of the Mediterranean and then arrive in Slano, a fantastic resort famous for its 2km long pebble beaches. We spend the afternoon soaking up the sun, swimming in the tranquil waters of the Adriatic and enjoying the superb long beach of Slano. Evening free to visit the town.

Day 7 Slano, Dubrovnik

After breakfast we cruise to Dubrovnik while enjoying the fantastic scenery of nature along the way and arrive in Dubrovnik in the early afternoon. Once we dock, our tour leader takes us into the city for an orientation walk. Much of the history of Dubrovnik can be characterized by its intact city walls, which run uninterrupted for 1940 meters encircling the city. This complex structure, one of the most beautiful and strongest fortified systems in Europe, is the main attraction to the city’s visitors. Five towers inbuilt along the city wall offer unforgettable views of the city, and out to sea warding off by gone invaders. In the afternoon you have free time to taste the refreshing cold beer and Mediterranean food at the Croatian taverns, visit the gift shops and enjoy the night life of Dubrovnik.

Day 8 Dubrovnik

Our trip sailing part will end here (08.30 am), we say goodbye to our new friends, and disembark the vessel. The stunning walled city of Dubrovnik is a true treasure. The cobbled old city streets resemble a jumble of tangled shoelaces filled with cute cafes, restaurants, ice cream parlours, souvenirs and curios. The compact city is full of colour and life and many a while can be spent watching the local traders go about their day.

Day 9 Montenegro

Today we are heading from Dubrovnik to Montenegro, cross international borders and spend the day in one of Europe’s lesser-visited gems. Enjoy a scenic drive around Kotor Bay with its numerous small towns, including Risan.Take a break in the medieval town of Kotor, encircled by walls and fortresses and listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then continue our tour along the steep slopes to Cetinje. In Budva, a charming ancient town that is today a lively tourist resort, you’ll have more free time to explore. Return to Dubrovnik by bus to our hotel.

Day 10 Bosnia, Mostar

We take a tour of Old Bridge of Mostar in Bosnia, part of the World’s Greatest Attractions series by GeoBeats. The Stari Most, or "Old Bridge", provides a beautiful centerpiece to the town of Mostar.350 year old Turkish house furnished with a courtyard which is intriguing.Ending in a visit to local handicraft manufacturers and lback to the hotel in Dubrovnik.

Day 11 Dubrovnik

Our trip will end after we say goodbye to our friends over breakfast, bid you safe travels, and check-out of the hotel.
